Kaori

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Kaori, a private single-user integration, accesses, uses, stores and shares Google user data. Kaori serves exactly one person: the owner of the Google account that authorised it. That person is also the person who installed the software. There are no other users.

Who is responsible

Kaori is a personal project operated by its owner. It is not a company and not a commercial service. Contact: kaorimiyazono70499@gmail.com.

What Google data is accessed

With the owner's explicit consent, and limited to the owner's own Google account:

No other Google account can be reached. No data belonging to any other person is requested or received.

How the data is used

Google user data is used solely to perform tasks that the owner asks the assistant to perform, such as filing a document, summarising a message, or adding an event. It is never used for advertising, never used to determine creditworthiness or for lending, and never used to train or improve any machine-learning model.

How the data is stored

The assistant runs on the owner's own computer. Google OAuth credentials and the API token are stored on that machine, readable only by the owner's operating-system user account. No Google user data and no credentials are uploaded to, or held on, any server operated by this project, because this project operates no server.

Sharing

Google user data is never sold, rented, traded or transferred to any third party for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose. It is never used to build profiles or audiences.

One exception is disclosed here plainly rather than buried in fine print. When the assistant reads content in order to answer or act on it, that content is transmitted to the language-model provider configured by the owner, so that a response can be generated. This happens only on the owner's own instruction. Providers are configured with data collection disabled wherever the provider supports it. No Google user data is retained by this project on any third-party service.

Retention and deletion

Local working copies of retrieved data are kept only as long as they are useful to the owner, and can be deleted at any time by the owner. Revoking Kaori's access from the Google Account permissions page immediately and permanently ends all API access; stored tokens then stop working.

Your control over the data

The owner can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Google's own controls over data accessed through its APIs are described at myaccount.google.com.

Limited Use

Kaori's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Children

Kaori is not directed at children and is not offered to anyone other than its single owner.

Changes

If the scopes, storage, or data practices of this integration change, this page will be updated before those changes take effect, and the date below will change with it.
